Upcoming Event
Once again I will be part of the Artists Open Studios in Whanganui.
I am excited to show many new works made of Carrara Marble. Some pieces were created during a residency in Italy and others were carved at my studio from Italian marble I had imported to New Zealand.

"Affection" Taranaki Andesite on Corten Steel base 55x90 cm, 105 cm high
This sculpture lives through its simplicity and through its contrasts. An organic form but precise, smooth and rough surfaces, dark and light..... I would like the viewer to make their own connection to the piece, so it becomes an invitation to touch and stirs the soul.

"Where the ocean meets the land" Taranaki Andesite 160x100 cm, 50 cm high
The dynamic and flowing lines, riverlike, represent movement, change, discovering new lands, a symbol of life. The two contrasting sides, like the ocean and the land, flow into each other, they interweave and connect, but keep their own identity, while complementing each other.
